Small thoughts
So these are random thoughts or mini poems that have flitted in and out of mind the last six months and I have written down. — To earthly delights he will have his fill. In pursuit of pleasure he will deny his soul. Just one look and I am taken in. — The folly of humans is ever present. The folly of man, far from divine. The follow of woman is to follow it. — The ignorance of man astonishes me. I falter in my courage, dimmed by shock. How quiet my heart but turbulent my soul when faced with what I loathe. — So come with the dawn, the most silent of moments. Deep and rich the flavor of the sky. With the breaking of light turmoil comes quick and unrelenting. — Melody the balm of my life. Solitude so small and full of wonder. Living more the surviving. — Midnight strikes the night, hallowed and still. Bleak is my soul when shunned in quiet. — Cold paradise, warmest hell. Strive for it. Quicken and hurry, death passes me tonight. — So solid are my memories, unsurpassed and unassailable. My memory stands ever ready, my guard of my secret heart. Conflict dwells. |
